Tucker University Freshman Year is Saturday!
Where did the month go?! So sorry for the delay in getting this out to you! Things have really been busy lately and it has been hard to "keep up".
We will be working with the Square Squared Tool and the Little Houses Technique Sheet this month.
Required Tools: Square Squared and Quilter's Magic Wand
Required Technique Sheet: Little Houses
Basic Sewing Supplies:
Sewing machine with power cords and manual (just in case)
Thread
Machine needles
Snips or trimming scissors
Seam ripper
Basic Quilting Supplies:
Rotary cutter with a sharp blade
Marking Pencil (mechanical will do)
Small cutting mat
Straight edge ruler approx. 6" x 12" or so
Invisigrip (Optional)
Fabric Requirements:
Fabrics will be cut during class. Therefore, the fabric requirements are healthy amounts so that you can make your own design choices during class. You may even want to use some of your scraps from your last class here.
For course 1-401, we recommend the following yardage:
1/4 yard Focal Fabric
1/4 yard Background
1/4 yard of one coordinating or contrasting fabric with the focal fabric
Class time is 10:00 a.m. - approx. 3:00 p.m.
Don't forget to bring a lunch or snack!
