Classes starting at Quilters Journey in 2021!
Tucker University will begin January 8th, 2021 OR January 9th, 2021. This is a monthly class meeting the second Saturday and the Friday before the second Saturday of each month. The classes build on each other, starting with the basics. You will learn: a) Tucker Trimmer, b) V Block, c) Wing Clipper I, d) Square-squared, e) Corner Beam, f) Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star, g) Corner Pop, h) Split Rects, i) Diamond Rects, j) Large Square Squared, k) Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star Advanced I and Advanced II, and l ) Migrating Geese. Class size is limited to 4 students per session. So sign up quickly.
Pre-Cuts Class will begin February 26th OR February 27th. This monthly class will meet the fourth Saturday and the Friday before the fourth Saturday. Each month we will make a different quilt using Pre-Cuts. You can begin at any time. Class size is limited at this time to 4 students per session. You will need to sign up for each month. Come every month or just a few months. Cost is $15 and includes the pattern. Some times we will use a free pattern and other times we will use a purchased pattern, either way, the pattern is free to the students.
Third Saturday Sampler
Begins January 16th, 2021. Meets the Third Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. OR 1:00 p.m. Purchase your first block for $5.00, take your block kit home, make your block, return the next month on the Third Saturday with your completed block, and receive your next block free. Must be at Quilters Journey at 10:00 a.m.
OR 1:00 p.m. for the demo. We will be using three Studio 180 Design tools for our blocks this year. It is best if you see the demo in person. If you cannot attend at either session, you can purchase the YouTube Videos (new this year!) to watch for a small fee. They will be sent through e-mail.
The Studio 180 Designs tools that will be used are: Tucker Trimmer I or III, Wing Clipper I,
and V Block.
