Scrap Quilting
Let's get those scraps out, cut them up, and use them to make some amazing quilts! We will approach this class a little differently than how most people approach scrap quilting. We are going to first pick a unit, such as an Hourglass or Quarter Square Triangle, Half Square Triangle, or Flying Geese, just to name a few. Then you will decide what size unit you want to make. Using Studio 180 Design techniques, we will cut our fabrics to make those units. We will then decide how to set them together to make a quilt. If you have a block in mind that you want to make, you can do that, too. We are here to encourage each other to use those scraps and make quilts.
Each month we will pick a different unit to cut for and make. But, there are no rules. You can continue working on the same unit as the previous month. You can also cut fabrics one month and sew them the next month.
You are not required to attend every month. Come when you can and enjoy the fellowship with other quilters.

| Skill Details: | Must be able to cut fabric using a rotary cutting, rulers, and cutting mat. |
| Requirements: | Scrap fabric, cutting mat, and rotary cutter. Must have your own sewing machine. You may not need to bring your machine to class. We will be cutting up our scraps during class. Sewing may be done during class or on your own at home. We will be encouraging each other to use up those scraps that we have been saving. |
