Retreat Quilt Class
New pattern by Terrie Welch. Terrie designed this quilt to teach at Quilters Journey Retreat at Echo Bluff State Park in January 2025. The quilt does not have a name yet. Maybe you can help her name it. It uses the Tucker Trimmer I or III by Studio 180 Design. She used the Triangle Pizazz technique sheet by Studio 180 Design to design this quilt. Happenings:
2024 Third Saturday Sampler
Third Saturday Sampler begins in January of each year. Come to Quilter's Journey on the Third Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m., beginning in January. Terrie will give a demo of the block and any tips to make your block. Take it home, make your block, and bring it with you on the next Third Saturday at 10:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. Stay for the demo, show your block, and receive your next block free! You must be here on the Third Saturday with your completed block in order to receive your next block free. If you come every month with your completed block, you will have 12 quilt blocks for a quilt and you only paid $5 for them! If you have to miss a month, come by the shop after the Third Saturday and purchase your block. If you make your block before the next Third Saturday, you can get right back on track.
The 2024 Third Saturday Quilt will be using a pattern by a Studio 180 Design Certified Instructor, Michelle Renee Hiatt. The pattern is called Timeless with a Twist - Series l. We will be using the following Studio 180 Design tools/rulers: Tucker Trimmer l, Wing Clipper l, and the Square Squared. Optional for setting 1 is the Four Patch Square Up and V Block.
There will be three colorways to choose from. You are only allowed one free block each month, so if you want to do more than one colorway, you will have to purchase the extra ones.
